About Meet Me At X
The Meet Me at X app is extremely energy and data efficient because it does not share any information without explicit user request.
The location data is sent anonymized so that the only way to connect a location request with the sender is to have access to the storage on the phone. The app does not send identifiable user location data out of the phone. Deleting the contact request and uninstalling the app removes all records of the user and the past location shares, thereby providing perfect forward secrecy.
